Tongue Plant Lamp

 
This multi piece lamp was inspired by a dream the artist had one night. The lamp shade it's self represents a dew drop and is hand made paper mache'. This lamp took forty hours to complete and won two ribbons in competition. The leaves are removable for shipping.

Black and Gold Lamp

 
This gourd lamp has a black and gold geometric design running around it belly done in acrylic paint and gold leaf. It's finished in a gloss finish and took about twenty hours to complete.

Horse Head Lamp

This large gourd lamp features a pryrographed design of two horse heads framed in twisted rope and seperated by horse shoes on either side. Crowning this lamp is an elegant silk shade with an understated wooden base. The lamp took eightyfive hour to complete and has won several ribbons at varrious shows. It's finished in a satin finish UV protectent polyurathane for years of protection.

Carved Gourd Lamp

This hand carved gourd lamp features several medallions of chip carved circle patterns some were dyed before carving while other were done afterwords. This lamp took thirty three hours to complete and won two ribbons at gourd shows.

Lion Lamp

The Lion Lamp one of Karen's early wood burnings done using an inexpensive wood burning tool. The lion is surrounded by a geometric pattern of black diamonds of acrylic paint, and edged in gold. The silk shade is fringed in amber beads and a walnut base lends support to this lamp. It has won two ribbons and took over thirty hours to complete,

Inlace Lamp

The Inlace lamp features geometric patterns of inlaid crushed stones. The artist used several differnt kinds of stone Inlace to complete the look she was after with this peice. This piece took over fifty hours to complete and has won two ribbons in gourd shows.
